Using SunStreak

SunStreak provides alarms, wake proofs, streaks and optional online social features. Local alarms and streaks can work without an account. Accounts enable sync, leagues and Wake Crew; cloud restore of alarms is not available in this release. Online features and purchases need a connection.

You must be at least 13 and meet the minimum age required by your local law. Keep your sign-in details secure. Follow the username rules below. Do not abuse the service, interfere with other accounts or falsify competitive results. Report abuse to our support email. The app has no chat or media sharing.

Username rules

You can keep a generated name or choose an available username in Account. Chosen usernames are unique without regard to capitalization; they are visible to your Crew and participating league peers. A username is not proof of identity or ownership of a real-world name. Accept these rules in the app before sharing a chosen name. A previously chosen name stays reserved while acceptance is pending.

Do not use usernames that contain or promote:

Threats, harassment, bullying or encouragement of self-harm or violence.
Hate or dehumanization targeting a person or group based on protected characteristics.
Sexual or sexually explicit content, or any exploitation or sexualization of children.
Misleading impersonation of another person, organization or SunStreak support.
Another person’s private information, such as their address, phone number or sign-in details.
Scams, illegal activity or attempts to evade a username restriction.

Use the member’s options menu in Crew or League to report a username or block the member. Reports are private and do not automatically penalize another user. Blocking hides your shared activity from each other; it does not remove either person from a Crew or league, or change their score or rank. You can manage blocked members in Account. People may still remember information they saw earlier.

We review reports and may replace a violating name with a generated name and restrict further username changes. A username restriction does not disable your local alarms. To appeal a decision or report a problem you cannot report in-app, contact edwardjdonalds@gmail.com from your account email. Do not send passwords or payment details. We consider the report and relevant account information before deciding whether to restore username editing.

Free and paid features

The free tier includes one alarm, basic streaks and Personal Best, math, walk and printed-QR proof, and Wake Crew. Pro includes additional alarms, barcode pantry and photo proof, league access and Vacation Mode. Availability and requirements are described in the app.

The app and Google Play show the price, billing period and any eligible trial before purchase. Google Play handles payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled under the terms shown at purchase. A free trial can become a paid subscription unless cancelled before its stated deadline. Cancel through Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Google’s subscription guidance explains cancellation and access after cancellation. Refund rights are governed by applicable law and Google Play’s policies. Mandatory consumer rights remain.

Deleting an app account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. You can request account deletion without first cancelling it. Any future price change will follow Google Play’s applicable notice and consent requirements.

Alarm reliability

Alarm delivery depends on your phone’s power, volume, permissions, operating system and battery settings. Test your setup before relying on it. Keep a backup alarm for important commitments; SunStreak cannot guarantee that every alarm will fire or wake you. Wake proofs confirm a completed task, not your identity, location or medical state. SunStreak is not a medical device or emergency service.

Streaks, points and ranks have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed. We may correct results or limit abusive activity to maintain fairness. A handle is pseudonymous, not a guarantee of anonymity. The privacy policy explains which data is processed and visible to other users.

Your rights and our responsibilities

You receive permission to use the app for its intended purpose. SunStreak’s software, design and assets remain subject to their owners’ intellectual-property rights and applicable third-party licenses. These terms do not restrict rights that applicable law gives you.

We aim to provide the service with reasonable care. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer guarantees. Liability and available remedies remain subject to applicable law; no term overrides your mandatory local consumer rights.

Leaving, suspension and changes

You can stop using SunStreak and request deletion at any time. We may restrict access for serious misuse, security needs or legal requirements, with notice and an opportunity to contact support where appropriate.

We may update features or these terms. We will communicate material changes through the app or another appropriate channel, provide notice where required, and preserve applicable paid-subscription and consumer rights.
